Last June 12 Protest Experience

Throwback Thursday: Last June 12 Struggle at Gani Fawehinmi Park Ojota, what started as a protest which was repressed from govt agents, got the no1 senior police officer of Lagos state (Hakeem Odumosu) with his contingent of newly branded police tanks. Few of us started it by reminding odumosu to his face that our right to assembly and peaceful express ourselves can not be truncated. He was left with no choice than to allow us carried out our political action, with showing sign of acceptance when he held my right hand in the face of the pressmen and said "I know you are fighting for my right too" I won't forget that awakening moment in an hurry. It turned out bigger and last to the evening of the day with small doctor arrival who revival the tired energy in us with his raw street vibes at a time when we are wrapping up the protest.
